Our Story

Hello, my name is Emily. I was born and raised in the beautiful landscapes of Northern Ontario, Canada. Today, our family calls the Greater Sudbury area home—a place surrounded by over 300 freshwater lakes, where nature is never in short supply.

Photography has always been a passion of mine. It allows me to study beauty, light, and poetry in everyday life.

But being a handmade maker brings me the greatest joy. Creating unique pieces that find their way into homes, cottages, and camps around the world is both humbling and rewarding. The happiness people feel when they see our work for the first time is what inspires us to keep creating.

I grew up in a family of makers, surrounded by artisans of all crafts. From an early age, I learned the importance of good workmanship, pride, confidence, and community. I was taught how to work within a budget, how to upcycle materials, and how to create with intention.

As a young girl, I felt a deep connection to nature and quickly fell in love with its enchantment.

The outdoors offers endless inspiration—the colors and textures of the forest, the warmth of the sun’s golden light, the chorus of frogs at dusk, and the cool night air at the end of a summer’s day. These moments remind me to pause, breathe, and simply be.

Mother Nature inspires me. Life inspires me. I am at my happiest when I am creating. Each piece I craft carries reflections of my Northern roots, weaving personal experiences and cultural heritage into designs that celebrate the beauty of nature and the joy of handmade artistry.
