Cheeky Fishing Frog – Handmade Needle-Felted Collectible Sculpture

“Frogs are often seen as symbols of transformation, renewal, and the changing seasons, due to their ability to live in both water and on land. In various cultures, they also represent wealth, abundance, wisdom, and good luck. Some cultures also see frogs as communicators between the spirit and human worlds, particularly as spirit helpers for shamans”.

Meet the ultimate fishing buddy—this cheeky needle-felted frog can sit proudly on a log or anywhere else your imagination takes you!  Our frog friend has a fresh catch in tow, ready to wrap up the day with a well-earned meal. Handcrafted in Northern Ontario during the winter months, this frog has patiently waited to emerge this spring and delight his new owner!

Each piece is meticulously needle felted using Maori wool, reinforced with wire for durability, and adorned with upcycled textiles to give him character. His expressive  glass eyes, sturdy hiking boots, and detailed miniature fishing accessories —including a fishing pole, basket, and net—bring his adventure to life.

🎣 The Perfect Gift

  • Second chances at love...

Up cycling challenges us as artists, it is helping keep textile out of landfills and encourages us to mend old clothes into new artistic trends. Foraging for the next AMAZING thing to work with is also pretty AWESOME!
